Ask HN: How do you find who changed prod outside Terraform?
The problem
Developers ask for help with exactly the problem you solve every day, in public. By the time a founder stumbles on the thread it has twenty answers, or a promotional reply gets the account flagged. Nobody has time to search five communities every morning.
What it does
Searches Hacker News, Stack Overflow and other Stack Exchange sites, dev.to and, optionally, GitHub issues for the phrases people use when they have your problem
Ranks each conversation: does it match, is someone asking for help, how fresh is it, does it have answers yet
Labels questions, discussions, launches of similar products and mentions of your brand
A useful tip to lead every reply with, so the answer helps even without a link
A ready disclosure line and each community's house rule, such as Stack Exchange's disclosure requirement
Marks what's new since your last digest, with a CSV tracker for who replied and when
A daily digest in GitHub Actions, with your own topics file
How it works
- List your products, the phrases your buyers use and a useful tip for each
- Get a ranked digest every morning
- Reply to the best few yourself, helping first
Works with
Your data
- Reads only official public APIs; Reddit and LinkedIn are not read.
- Never posts or messages anyone: every reply is written by a person.
- Runs on your laptop or in your own CI; nothing is sent to us.
Who it's for
Questions
Is this a bot that posts for me?
No. ReachRadar only finds and ranks conversations. Communities can tell when a reply is automated, and it hurts your brand. You write every reply.
Why not Reddit or LinkedIn?
Their terms don't allow this kind of collection without a commercial agreement, so ReachRadar leaves them out.
